At 2:30pm Dad went on to Glory to be with the Lord. He's free. No more gasping for another breath. No more coughing and suffering, no more needles and tubes. He's with his daughter, Tonina, and the rest of the saints having a jubilee. One day we know we'll all be together again.
Thank you all for your prayers and words of support. We'll keep you posted about funeral arrangements.
God bless you.

When we ALL get to Heaven...What a day of rejoicing that will be! We will continue to pray for God's Peace to all the family. We love you Sis. Maria!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, Bro. Vincent, and Godspeed.
ReplyDeleteDear Sis Maria, Sis Vittoria, Bro Franco and Sis Amy,
ReplyDeleteWe rejoice for your wonderful dear Dad having finished the race well,... yet our hearts cry and go out to you all at this incredibly difficult time. We've been there a few times and know the awful pain of being separated from loved ones. He is beyond this curtain of time now, just happy, resting and waiting to see you all. And whether it is by death or the rapture it won't be long until you are with him again. What is our short 70 - 80 years here compared with eternity? We know you are deeply grieved, but also know that you are believers that believe all is well. Please accept our deepest sympathy with continued prayers for your family.
In Christian Love,
Bro Russ, Sis Sally, Alana & Amy Terry
So very sorry to hear the sad news. May the Lord comfort you all at this time and in the coming days. We shall miss him.
ReplyDeleteLots of love,

We feel such a loss, words cannot say...much, much love to you all. Wish we could be there with you.

May our Lord Jesus Christ give you all strength and replace your sorrow with joy that Bro Vincent has won the victory in Christ Jesus! The devil has LOST! Bro Vincent will be greatly missed by many, but he has just slipped behind the curtain of time and we WILL meet again!

Dear Bro. Franko, Sis. Amy, Sis. Maria & the rest of the Grillo family and any others who were touched by our Bro. Vincent's precious life; God, our heavenly Father has us all in the palm of his hand. He knows our days and we do not fear or sorrow for our brother. He is in glory land with the Lord now. Soon we shall be with him. Our prayers are with you...until we meet again!

It has been wonderful to know such a sweet, godly gentleman and know that he was so dedicated to the Lord before going to meet Him. "Soon and very soon we are [all] going to see the King" as the rapture is just around the corner and Bro Vincent and Tonina will be there. We really feel for you all, as although we know he is in a better place, it's hard to say goodbye to someone we love. We are praying for the Lord Jesus to comfort you and carry you through this difficult time. We love you.

What a priviledge it was to know Brother Vincent, he was a true gentleman and a real believer in the word. What an example of a Godly husband and father. We will miss seeing him on our visits to Ohio, but look forward to renewing fellowship in Glory. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, we pray the Lord will cover you all in His peace and love.
ReplyDeleteWith all our love in Christ
From
Brother Brian, Sister Carol Family and Fellowship.
Franco & Family,
ReplyDeleteI'm not really good with these situations. I feel so lost, and even let down. I question and wonder about all of the "what ifs." My own dear father has been gone for nine years and I miss him every day. I long to hear his voice. I want the phone to ring and I want him to be on the other end of the line, but it never happens.
Even though I ache for his fellowship again, I have a joy, an assurance, a knowledge deep in my soul that all is well. I know that as sure as my Redeemer lives, so does my father.
Even though the thought of your pain makes my eyes well up with tears, I know for a fact, that the Lord Jesus carried me when I was separated from my father. Knowing that he did it for me, I pray very ernestly that He will carry you, too.
Please know that we and the rest of your church family are sharing and feeling the loss with you.

Dear Sis Maria, Sis Vittoria, Bro Franco and Sis Amy,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. Brother Vincent is such a precious brother, whom we are going to miss incredibly . His deep, eloquent love for his wife and family is an example we will sorely miss.
As we prayed for him today, I recalled those strong hands of his grasping mine, just a few weeks ago. As we talked so many times, his presence would always fill me with a sense of calm assurance. The profound depth of his faith always left me thinking that this was a man whose actions I wanted to emulate.
We weep for our loss, but rejoice for his testimony, that even death cannot quiet. I pray that the presence of the Lord will overshadow you all in the weeks and months ahead, giving you peace.
Brother John Garrett
Sis. Maria, Sis. Vittoria, Bro. Franco & Sis. Amy, May the Holy Spirit embrace you for us. We grieve and share the sorrow with you as the Body of Christ. May God allow us also to be a strength and comfort. When one of God's children are called "Home," I'm always reminded of I Thess. 4:13-18. Especially verses 17 & 18: "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." As God orchestrated the song "Beulah Land" to be sung the last service of family camp, our precious Brother was stepping into reality! We love you all and will continue to keep you in special prayer during this time.
ReplyDeleteDear Grillo Family,
ReplyDeleteMay God give you the Grace and Peace He gave me when my Mom went Home. Bro Vicent is young again and having a wonderful time with the Saints! Soon we will all be together again! I will continue to remember you all in prayer. We don't always understand the why's but we know that He won't let anything happen to us that is not for our good and His Glory!
God bless you each one.
Sis Jena Johnson(Bibleway)
May the Lord bless and comfort you at this time.
ReplyDeleteWe know you are happy for brother Vincent and yet sad at being separated.
Knowing you will be together again makes the parting easier.
We will continue to remember you all in our prayers.
God Bless.

"...till we meet again."

ReplyDeleteSis. Maria, Vitty, Franco, & Amy,
ReplyDeleteBro. Vincent was loved by all & touched so many lives. He was the most humble man & his testimony & love for Maria goes before him as a memorial. I weep with you and share in your loss, but also rejoice that he is now whole & with our Lord. (Bro. Moffit expressed it so well).
I love each of you very much...my prayers continue to go out for you all. He was dearly loved by each of us.
God Bless - love,
Elisabeth
What a wonderful legacy our Bro. Vincent has left all of us. He demonstrated the Love of Christ in all that he did. I know heaven is rejoicing and we rejoice for him, while at the same time grieving the loss of his fellowship.
ReplyDeleteI do look forward to seeing that young Bro. Vincent on my doorstep one day soon, telling me it's time to go. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless you.
Bro. John & Sis. Nancy.
As we heard Bro. Vincent was able to sqeeze your hand if he could glimpse the other side, my heart just bounded in joy and tears. "Beyond the curtain" is that close... as thin as a "curtain". I just know as soon as Brother Vincent greeted all of his loved ones and spent time with them,(of course there's no time there is there?), he would meet our many family memebers that have gone on and tell them he knows us. That's so exciting to us. We're all one family and I just love the way the Lord made us that way.
ReplyDeleteSister Sally and I were talking and it just seems like the Lord draws us closer to Him by each one of our loved ones He takes home. That drawing was especially strong with such a precious Brother as we have lost and heaven gained in Brother Vincent. Our eyes will be heaven ward with a steady gaze until we're changed from this mortality. I just can't wait to see our loved ones walking around greeting us.
Special love, comfort and blessings to you all!
Brother Chuck and Sister Kimberly Hunnell
