Dad has been doing so very well, as you have seen here on this blog, but this morning whilst the PT was going through some exercises with him he suffered a serious stroke. It seems to have affected the left part of the brain, in the brain stem. At the moment his right side is paralyzed and he can't swallow. He's sleeping right now, with an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose.
The next 24 hours are critical, but especially the next couple of hours. We're praying that the Lord will allow his brain to re-route blood to the affected area and restore function and movement. We believe that Christ came not just to give us life, but to give us abundant life.
When there is more news I will try to update this blog.

We're definitely all praying for Bro Vince and for each one of you as well!!! God is more than able!!! Bro Tim Arant sent an email this morning which i thought was encouraging. Part of what he said was this: "The Bride is standing before the Throne of Her Husband and He is even now holding out the Scepter." We'll all continue holding your dad before the throne of God!!! May you all find strength in HIM through this time!!!

Just to let you know that we are praying for Brother Vince, believing that God is able to raise him up and heal. We will vist the blogg to see how things are going. Brother Vince and Sister Maria have been such a blessing to us and we have enjoyed good fellowship with them, admiring their faith which is an inspiration to all.
