Change Of Schedule

Dad's PEG procedure (in which they insert the feeding tube into his side) has been moved to Wednesday morning at 7am. He is still having the tracheotomy on Tuesday at 1pm.

I was able to convey this information to Dad and he acknowledged with a small nod. It sure is nice seeing Dad responding a little bit more to us. It's still very limited and he spends most of the time sleeping, but it sure is more than what was happening a few days ago. So we're definitely thanking God for the progress. Each day we're seeing small, baby-steps of progress, which we find so encouraging. All of our prayers are being answered.

  1. Oh yes we do serve a faithful God.

The Lord see's our human side, but He remains faithful to His precious promises.

He hasn't said no, so we are believing for a yes.

  2. Franco, in the middle of such a trial you are still able to write, "All of our prayers are being answered." Now, it is you who is encouraging me! (When it should be the other way around, and I should be encouraging you.) And... your faith is still carrying you at 12:15 AM when your body and mind are crying for rest and peace.

Having been through a fire or two myself, fighting every doubting demon that can crowd inside of my small brain, I can testify that God's Word has anchored me. Oh, I have been tossed and battered and given up for dead, but the Anchor holds, as I see it holding you. Praise His Holy Name.

James 1:3,4 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

1 Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

Yes, the Anchor holds! 1 Peter 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

    God Bless,
    Jack & Sherrie
