Dad's neurologist stopped by to assess him this afternoon and he told us that his condition is definitely improved over yesterday. However, he remains critical and could still take a turn for the worst at any moment. At this point it's hard for him to give us a definitive prognosis. Tomorrow they plan to do another CT scan and that should give us a better idea of where things are headed.
Dad is resting, but restless. The neurologist has assured us that he is not experiencing pain, and he told us that given the improvement of today over yesterday, we should all keep praying because it's working. He is still saying that if dad survives he will not regain much of his ability. We're still believing that God can do exceedingly above what we can think or ask. We're believing for total recovery, a whole restoration, a complete work.

Yes, that is absolutely right Bro. Franco - believe beyond what test results can show! It would be so wonderful for my dear Muslim friend and former boss, Dr. Almudallal, to see what the power of our Lord Jesus Christ can do through our Vincent! I am excited to see him comment about our prayers, this experience with the Grillo family may mean something to him in the future.
ReplyDeleteHis office manager is a Christian, I am in contact with her daily, and her family is praying and following the progress too.
With Love,
Kathy (and Josh)
Believing with you for total healing.

Dear Bro. Franco and Family,
ReplyDeleteAs evidenced by the many comments of support and encouragement, Sherrie and I are just a small part of a body who is very deeply concerned with the illness that has beset your dad.
Sherrie and I keep a copy of Bosworth’s, Christ the Healer close at hand. When illness strikes, we read from it as it continually points to scripture proving that it is God’s will to heal. Neither the test of time nor the lack of instant evidence can change the will of God who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases. (Ps 103)
You are all continually in our prayers.
Jack & Sherrie
We are continuing to hold you all up in prayer. John calls Bro. Vincent - Vincent Abraham. He is so dear to all of us. He has such a sweet, loving nature & faith. We trust God will raise him up and make him every whit whole. In the meantime what a testimony this is to his doctor. God does seem to be working with the muslims now. Wouldn't it be just like God to use this to speak to his doctor. Truly, we serve a might God!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you all,
The Morrows

ReplyDeleteWe're just getting back from being gone over the weekend, but we checked in regularly. We thank the Lord for "the cloud the size of a man's hand"! We love you all and are believing with you. May the Lord keep you strong in faith and touch your bodies under the stress and lack of sleep.
